Project Firebird

Interior:

Where to begin??? Oh yes, remove, strip, clean, paint, reinstall.

My dash had a big crack in the middle and needed to be replaced. I sent the dash pad to Just Dashes in California to be re-covered. They did an excellent job.

The under side of the dash was stenciled with the date code 1-26-68 and had yellow crayon mark of 69. It was made in Canada. The 1969 Firebird dash pad is not the same as the Camaro.

Note: The hard plastic dash which houses the gauges had to be cut to accept the center vent for the air conditioner.
